Analysis Update on the E12-17-003 Experiment

Abstract

The E12-17-003 Experiment was carried out successfully at Jefferson lab in 2018 by using the pressurized tritium target. By utilizing the Hall A high-resolution spectrometers and the 3H(e,e’K+)Λnn reaction, a possible Λnn resonance state, and a ΣNN bound state was observed with an energy resolution of about 3.0 MeV (FWHM), although the statistics are not enough to solidly confirm the observed states. In addition, from this experiment, the upper limits of the Λnn cross-section were measured. This presentation will give a description of this experiment, its analysis, and results.
