A Beginner's Guide to Gravitational-Wave Astronomy
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
A Beginner's Guide to Gravitational-Wave Astronomy will give a broad introduction to contributed talks at the meeting. It will provide an overview of the talks on gravitational-wave astronomy and the background necessary to understand and appreciate the results. I will also make an effort to describe how we expect the field to progress as detectors become more sensitive and new terrestrial detectors are built.
