The equation of state of dense nuclear matter from heavy-ion collisions

ORAL

Abstract

We use hadronic transport simulations with parametrizable mean-field interactions together with flow data from the STAR experiment at the center-of-mass energies of 3.0 and 4.5 GeV to constrain the equation of state of symmetric nuclear matter through Bayesian analysis. I will discuss the findings in the context of other known constraints from heavy-ion collisions and neutron star studies.
