Modeling Loss-less Negative Refraction

We use a model of two-level systems to simulate negative refractive index without absorptive losses due to gain enhancement. We compare this with our earlier ideas on negative refraction based on electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT). Then, we report the effects of phase noise on the resultant signal for import in signal fidelity issues.
