Polarized Fermi Gases at Unitarity in Anisotropic traps
ORAL
Abstract
We discuss recent apparently contradictory experimental results on trapped polarized resonantly interacting interacting fermions. Our analysis occurs in the context of a full 3D Bogoliubov deGennes analysis and we dwell on the possible roles of the confining geometry in producing density distortions away from the local density approximation with implications for the Superfluid-Normal transition (Clogston limit).
