Electronic Correlation in strongly driven atomic and molecular systems

Abstract

In a quasiclassical framework we discuss the mechanisms of double ionization and the effects of electronic correlation during fragmentation of atomic and diatomic molecules when driven by intense and ultrashort laser pulses.
