Strong-field Herman-Kluk propagator method for photoelectron momentum distribution of molecules in few-cycle intense laser pulses

ORAL

Abstract

We demonstrate applications of our recently developed semiclassical strong-field Herman–Kluk (SFHK) propagator method for calculation of photoelectron momentum distribution (PMD) from molecules driven by few-cycle intense laser fields. We provide careful analysis of the rescattering region, in which we identify new structures in the PMD from N2 in contrast to that of H2. We relate these structures with rainbow-like scattering in electron-molecular ion scattering. Furthermore, we discuss possibilities of identifying these kinds of structures in experiments. Our findings open opportunities for analyzing detailed structures in PMD for future research.
