Fine-structure changing collisions for oxygen and sulfur atoms in collisions with molecular hydrogen

Coupled channel quantum-mechanical calculations on the fine-structure changing collisions of S and of O with ortho- and para-H2 are reported. Cross sections and rate coefficients are calculated.
