XUV ionization of N2

POSTER

Abstract

We theoretically investigated Nsingle ionization by phase-stable attosecond XUV pulse trains made available at the FERMI free-electron laser [1].  We calculate photoelectron spectra by numerically propagating the electronic and nuclear motion on the potential energy surfaces of neutral ground-state Nand thousands of discretized states employed to represent the N2++e continuum. Our preliminary simulated results are in good agreement with the experimental data taken at FERMI [2].
