Measurement of the absolute energy of the 11 2P1/2 state of lithium-7

POSTER

Abstract

We report on the progress of measuring the absolute energy of the 11 2P3/2 state of lithium-7. This measurement will resolve the discrepancy between recent theoretical calculations by Nasiri et. al which found a value of 42572.516(3) cm-1 and the experimental value given in the NIST database of 42569.1(10) cm-1.
