The stability of multiple tip vortices

Abstract

The talk will present some new results on the viscous stability of multiple tip vortices. Using a BiGlobal stability approach we predict the critical Reynolds number for a variety of vortex configurations. Some discussion of the inviscid instability of these multiple vortex configurations will also be given.
