Non-symmetric ideal magnetohydrodynamic steady flows
POSTER
Abstract
Steady ideal magnetohydrodynamic flows which lack symmetry are found by an expansion in a parameter proportional to the amplitudes of the flow and magnetic field. Resonance conditions are identified and similar to problems in the expansion of equilibria , it is shown how to resolve resonances and find the flows. To leading order the flows are parallel, although in higher order the limitation of being parallel is not needed.
