Physical Review & NSF Tutorial for Authors and Proposers: How to write impactful papers and successful proposals

Scientists have a responsibility to share the meaning and implications of their work, both within and outside their community, but generally receive little training in writing and communication. They often feel unprepared to communicate with the public, the media, funding agents and even other scientists. In this session, some thoughts on science communication, focusing on tips for writing a paper for a high impact journal in physics will be presented.
