Curriculum Discussion
ORAL
Abstract
Undergraduate physics curricula have not changed significantly for more than 50 years. This fact motivates the present discussion, which is the first in a series of local/sectional discussions supported by the AIP Venture Fund to prepare the field for a follow-on, community-wide reconsideration of the undergraduate physics curriculum, broadly construed. During this discussion, we aim to hear concerns about present curricula and ideas for future curricula that can enable future discovery and innovation.
