Effects of nuclear modeling in Lepton-Nucleus Scattering
ORAL
Abstract
In addition to having precise knowledge about form factors that describe a single nucleon's interactions with leptons, a firm understanding of the effects of nuclear modeling is needed for future neutrino experiments. In this talk, I will describe how my collaborators and I analytically implement a nuclear model often used in nuclear astrophysics, to study lepton-nucleus scattering. I will present some interesting results for form factor modeling in neutrino-nucleus scattering based on whether or not fixed energy neutrinos take part in the scattering.
