Some topics of theoretical studies of exotic nuclear structure

Three recent topics of theoretical studies of exotic nuclear structure are discussed. The first topic is different deformations of neutron and proton distributions in unstable nuclei. The second is the superdeformation in sd shell nuclei and its relation to nuclear molecular resonances. The third topic is ``gas-like'' states in light nuclei.
