GPD extraction - Experimental aspects

Generalized Parton Distributions are very briefly introduced. The observables in Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering and Deeply Virtual Meson Production are explained, and the complementary ways they offer to access various GPDs. First experimental results from HERMES and JLAB are reviewed and a collaborative effort is recommended towards a global analysis of GPDs.
