An overview of the physics possibilities and the planned searches for sterile neutrinos

There are many planned experiments on sterile neutrino searches in the world using radiation sources, reactors, atmospheric neutrinos and accelerators. Physics motivation of the searches and the overview of the experiments including the recent trend are shown in this talk.
