Abstract

Recently, Belle experiment has reported production of excited hyperons and charmed baryons from the high statistics $e^+e^-$ annihilation data. The direct production rates of these baryons from virtual photon are measured for the first time, and new excited states of baryons are observed. The study on the production mechanisms and spectroscopy of these baryons will shed light on the internal structure of baryons.

In this April, we successfully observed the first $e^+e^$ collision with Belle II detector, and we aim to  proceed hadron physics with higher luminosity beam. In addition to the $e^+e^-$ collider, we upgrade a real photon facility at SPring-8/LEPS2. For the study of hadron physics, we are constructing a solenoid  magnet spectrometer which can detect both photons and charged particles simultaneously, and we have started commissioning run of the solenoid spectrometer.

In this talk, we review recent results from Belle and LEPS and prospects of Belle II and SPring-8/LEPS2 experiments.
