Abstract
For over 40 years I have had the great privilege to perform research in physics, enabled by a remarkable group of students and postdocs. This highly motivated and talented group of people have made important contributions to an impressive and broad body of physics knowledge, and along the way have inspired me and many others. I will try to review many of these accomplishments and the people who made them possible, and to convey a sense of how exciting and rewarding this journey has been.
