Higgs Universality Description of Sterile Neutrino Properties: Consistency with experimental data.

ORAL

Abstract

Application of Higgs Universality to the neutrino sector provides predictions for the coupling of sterile neutrinos to the well known active neutrinos. We examine two reported experimental results, the fit by Collin {\it et al.} \cite{Collin} to low energy oscillations and the fit by Cappelluti {\it et al.} \cite{Cappelluti} to a source of an observed $3.51 keV$ astrophysical line. We find that, for a range of parameters consistent with either hierarchy of active neutrinos, the expected coupling is consistent with the observations.
