Lattice QCD study of the J/ψ-N interaction

ORAL

Abstract

In this talk, we report on our study of the J/ψ-N interaction from lattice QCD simulations. We employ the method developed by the HAL QCD method, which utilizes the relation between the spatial part of a hadron-hadron correlation function and the QCD S-matrix. We show that the J/ψ-N interaction consists of 4 terms at the lowest order of the derivative expansion: the central, the spin-spin, and two tensor-like terms. One of the tensor-like term involves both the J/ψ and N spins, whereas the other depends only on the J/ψ spin. We shall discuss the relative strength of these terms in the context of the heavy-quark symmetry.
