Competing CDW and SC order parameters in NbSe$_2$

Abstract

We study collective excitations in NbSe$_2$ by low-frequency electronic Raman spectroscopy as a function of temperature, magnetic field and excitation energy. We discuss observed relations between collective modes induced by charge density waves (CDW) and superconducting (SC) order parameters. We compare Raman data to recent STM and ARPES studies.
