The Gap Function for a 2-leg t-J Ladder

Abstract

The wave vector and frequency dependence of the gap function $\phi(k,\omega)$ for a doped 2-leg t-J ladder is obtained from a Lanczos calculation. Based upon this information, we argue that the pairing interaction is (1) short range in space, (2) retarded, and (3) dominated by the S=1 channel near its onset.
