Atomic Fermi gases with unequal spin populations
ORAL
Abstract
We investigate the properties of a gas of fermionic atoms where the two spin populations are unequal. By considering how the ground state evolves as a function of inter-atomic interaction and population imbalance, we will determine what the measurable differences are between the various theoretical models of the BCS-BEC crossover in atomic gases.
