Studies of the Non-Fermi Liquid Kondo System $Lu_{1-x} Yb_x Rh_2 Si_2 $.

Abstract
Single Crystalline Platelets of the $YbRh_2 Si_2 $ system show strong magnetic anisotropy. Specific Heat, Magnetic Susceptibility and Electrical Resistivity data are presented for the alloy system$Lu_{1-x} Yb_x Rh_2 Si_2 $across the entire composition range. The data suggests that the effective Kondo scale for $YbRh_2 Si_2 $is smaller than that for the dilute alloys of $Yb$ in $LuRh_2 Si_2 $. This work was supported by NSF DMR-0433560.
