Charge profiles inside sigle-stranded viruses

Abstract

Many single stranded viruses pack their genome using flexible peptide arms of capsid proteins. Genome binding may then be mapped onto interaction between polyelectrolyte and charged brush. In this talk we pursue an electrostatic model of genome binding and address several questions on charge profiles inside capsids.
