Electronic Structure and CDW Physics in LaTe$_{2}$ using ARPES
ORAL
Abstract
We report a direct study of the band structure and charge density wave (CDW) formation in LaTe$_{2}$, by using high-resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). The nature of the CDW formation, the momentum dependence of the CDW gap and the role of dimensionality in the tellurides will be presented. Finally the transition from a stripe to a checkerboard phase and its layer dependence will be addressed.
