Random Packing of Platonic Solids

Abstract
While a large amount of literature has been devoted to the packing of spheres, very little is known about the packing of regular polyhedra, such as platonic solids. This presentation will describe numerical work on the packing of model systems in which mono-disperse tetrahedra, cubes, dodecahedra, and icosahedra are randomly packed.
