New spin modes in itinerant ferromagnets

We are theoretically investigating new collective spin phenomena that could exist in itinerant ferromagnetic materials such as MnSi. We postulate a ground state that is in agreement with experimental findings for these materials and derive a set of new spin collective modes. These modes would affect properties of these materials such as specific heat and spin transport and would be experimentally observable.
