Competing s and d-wave superconducting order in V$_{3}$Si
ORAL
Abstract
Competing phases have generated a lot of interest in the study of cuprate and pnictide superconductors. Here we examine the competition between s and d-wave superconducting order in V$_{3}$Si. We provide microscopic arguments as to why both of these phases have a comparable transition temperature in this material. We further argue that many experimental probes provide evidence for this competition.
