Magnetization Plateau of Classical Ising Model on Shastry-Sutherland Lattice

Abstract

Magnetization of the classical antiferromagnetic Ising model on the Shastry-Sutherland lattice is investigated using the tensor renormalization group approach. We find a single magnetization plateau at 1/3 of the saturation value and investigate its dependence on temperature and frustration. The spin configuration of this plateau has also been determined.
