Magneto-resistance based First Order Reversal Curve (MR-FORC) analysis of MgO based MTJs

Abstract

MR-FORC utilizes partial magneto-resistance hysteresis loops to reveal the coercive and interaction field distributions in the free layer of MgO based magnetic tunnel junctions. The interpretation of the FORC diagrams will be discussed with emphasis on the identification of coercive values, the interlayer exchange properties, the magnetic after-effect and a reversible magnetic instability under study.
