Entanglement spectra of Hofstadter and related models

Abstract

We compute the bipartite entanglement spectra for the Hofstadter model on various two-dimensional lattices. The behavior of the entanglement eigenstates in the vicinity of a partition boundary is investigated in detail. We also investigate the formation of entanglement edge states as one tunes through a topological phase transition in Haldane's honeycomb lattice model and other related systems.
