History, Present and Future of IoP and Solving the unsolvable integrable models

The talk contains two parts. In the first part, I'll give a brief introduction of the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, including the history, present and future. The main missions and the achievements will also be introduced. In the second part, I'll talk about a newly proposed theoretical method which has been successfully used to solving some long-standing problems in the field of integrable models.
