Abstract

Recent advances in synthetic techniques have enabled the growth of complex oxides and their heterostructures with atomic-scale control. We will present new approaches to fabricating freestanding crystalline membranes, which provide the opportunity for wide-scale integration with other materials families. We will also present novel devices utilizing 2D oxide heterostuctures, with emphasis on perpendicular transport geometries.
