Deconfined criticality in the presence of SO($N$) anisotropy

ORAL

Abstract

SO($N$) quantum magnets have a rich phase diagram that hosts spin-nematic order, valence bond solid order, and spin liquid behavior. The models can also be continuously connected to well studied models of SU($N$) magnets that display deconfined quantum criticality. We investigate the influence of the deconfined critical point on the nearby phase diagram with SO($N$) anisotropy added.
