Spreading of waves in disordered media

The localization of classical waves in linear and nonlinear disordered media has been extensively studied in the context of the nonlinear Schr\"odinger equation. Here, we study this phenomenon in the context of other classical systems described by nonlinear equations in the presence of disorder to establish the existence of localization as a generic phenomenon that survives in the presence of nonlinearities.
