Innovating Towards a New Energy Future at TAE Technologies, Inc.

TAE Technologies, Inc. is on a mission to provide our climate-threatened world with a new source of safe, affordable, abundant, and carbon-free power that addresses the global need for 24/7 on-demand electricity. Our aim is to deliver world-changing clean fusion energy technology as fast as possible. Starting with the end in mind – a fusion solution that delivers practical science, engineering integration and competitive economics – TAE developed a unique approach combining advanced particle accelerators, plasma physics, and an aneutronic fuel cycle. Our international team of over 160 is currently operating Norman (also called C-2W), our latest prototype device. Driving innovation at this scale requires an organization committed to, and optimized for, both technical and process innovation at all levels. This presentation will provide an overview of the business opportunity we pursue, our technical approach, and lessons learned building an innovation focused company.
