Entanglement, Entropy, Erasure, and Error: the Multiple Facets of Stern-Gerlach

ORAL

Abstract

The Stern-Gerlach effect has a long history of revealing fundamental physics in unexpected ways. In this presentation, we explore the role accurate Stern-Gerlach dynamics can play in the physics of quantum information, from selecting measures of entanglement to retrieving quantum coherence.
