Probabilistic stability measures and the dynamics of power grids.

Abstract
I present results on the impact of the topology of the underlying network on the dynamics of oscillator networks, in particular, dynamical models of power grids. In order to study such high-dimensional networked systems I will introduce probabilistic stability measures that allow for sampling based estimation. By designing these measures with explicit reference to the network structure, we can uncover novel relationships between dynamical and structural properties.
