Study of interaction of Bovine Serum Albumin with Gold Nanoparticles
ORAL
Abstract
The protein-nanoparticle conjugates have potential applications in the fields of colloidal science and biophysics. We study the pH-dependent thickness of bovine serum albumin (BSA) layer on gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). pH-dependent conformations of BSA were determined between pH values 4 and 8. Comparison of pH-dependent hydrodynamic radii results of BSA-AuNp conjugates with Langmuir binding isotherm will be presented.
