Quantum phase transitions between gapped topological phases: a percolation approach

Abstract
We study continuous quantum phase transitions between two gapped topological orders, where a gapped boundary exists at the interface of the two phases. Using a percolation picture, we derive the effective Hamiltonian and the universality class of the quantum phase transition.
