Energy-Momentum Photoluminescence Spectroscopy of Quantum Emitters in Hexagonal-Boron Nitride
POSTER
Abstract
Defects in hexagonal-boron nitride(h-BN) have recently been characterized and identified as light emitters that are ideal for quantum information applications. These photostable emitters have narrow and tunable emission spectra, operate at room temperature, and exhibit high quantum efficiency. However, the electronic structure of these quantum emitters are still under intense debate. In this presentation, we use angle- and polarization-resolved photoluminescence spectra to study the origin of light emission from a range of point emitters in h-BN.
