Emergent memory in spatio-sequentially driven metamaterials
ORAL
Abstract
While most studies have focussed on spatially homogeneous driving conditions, spatially textured driving can elicit path-dependent behaviour.
Here, we introduce a model system and develop a systematic approach to investigate and describe such non-commutative responses.
Together, our work presents new avenues to leverage the complex response of spatio-sequentially driven nonlinear media for material based computing.
