Enhancing Second-Harmonic Generation through Phase-Matching in a Silver Two-Wire Transmission-Line

Abstract
We numerically study phase-matching of the second-harmonic generation (SHG) efficiency of a silver plasmonic two-wire transmission-line (TWTL). By leveraging the intrinsic material properties of silver and precise geometric parameter tuning of TWTL, we achieved an extended coherence length of 20μm. At phase-matching conditions, we report 72% enhancement in the peak intensity of SHG compared to gold.
