E-T Duality of Composite Fermion Wigner Solid in Two Dimensional Hole Gas

ORAL

Abstract

Two-dimensional hole gas (2DHG) system exists the competition of quantum Hall effect (QHE) liquid and Wigner solid (WS) solid under high magnetic field (B) and low temperature (T). We report non-linear differential conductance around and states in GaAs/AlGaAs quantum well (QW) 2DHGs, which in accord with the feature of type-Ⅱ CFWS. Particularly, the applied electric field affects the magnetoconductance diagram in a way similar to the temperature, which is known as “E-T duality”. According to our analysis, this “E-T duality” is consistent with the Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless (BKT) theory, which is well-known in two-dimensional phase transitions.
