A stochastic three-state model on a Cayley tree and its potential applications to nanomedicine
POSTER
Abstract
We present a three-state cooperative sequential adsorption and evaporation model on a Cayley tree with constant and variable attachment and detachment rates and discuss its possible applications for drug encapsulation of two types of nanoparticles on tree-like synthetic polymers called dendrimers. The geometry of a dendrimer is described mathematically as a Cayley tree. We present analytical and Monte Carlo simulation results and calculate a variety of quantities such as time-dependent particle densities and time-dependent probabilities of certain particle configurations relevant to dendrimer dynamics.
