"For many years now, I have been involved in the scientific reality of SESAME, first as a member of the Peer Review Panel of the facility, and for the past few years, as chair of the Life Science panel for proposal evaluation. I myself am a researcher in the infrared beamline at Sincrotrone Elettra in Trieste. In this talk, I would like to focus on my experiences as a female line researcher, as well as on the contribution of female scientists to research in relation to my experiences as an evaluator of SESAME proposals."
