Disorder dependence of pseudo magnetic field

ORAL

Abstract

A topological superconductor with a Fermi surface of Bogoliubov quasi-particles is one of the most exotic phases, so-called the Bogoilubov Fermi-surface (BG-FS). Due to its significant presence of zero-energy states, the BG-FS exhibits remarkable versatility in disorder effects. To elucidate the role of the disorder on the BG-FS, we place a particular focus on the pseudomagnetic field, a crucial factor behind the emergence of the BG-FS. Specifically, through a full and self-consistent Born approximation, we evaluate the sign and size of the pseudomagnetic field, validating both methods. Our theoretical findings have direct relevance to recent experiments involving impurity scattering in the iron-based superconductor FeSe1-xSx.
